Kitchen Faucet Finishes and Styles

A modern kitchen gets completed with a sleek and attractive faucet. But also your choice’s finish and appearance affects its client-friendly and budget-friendly.

Insure your customers that they have a choice at every price point by providing them with different finishes and shapes – they can then choose the one that is most beautiful to them and practical!

Single-Handle Faucets
One-handle faucets look elegant and take up less space, and with fewer components, are more easy to clean and maintain. The style would fit any contemporary décor, and one-handle versions even open with the elbow or wrist – so arthritis-prone seniors could also enjoy them.

This kind of faucet comes with a lever through which a plastic or brass ball is swung to adjust water temperature and flow. While robust and repairable, if they leak at either end it typically indicates a damaged spring or seat, whereas if they leak at the handles it might be time to replace the O-rings.

Two handles on a double-handle tap make temperature control of the faucet very accurate, which gives the look of traditional in kitchens. But they’re a bit trickier to use as you can turn the hot water on and off accidentally due to close handles touching. And second, double-handles are more expensive and sometimes require some plumbing work prior to installation over single handles.

Gooseneck Faucets
A gooseneck faucet can go a long way if you’re looking to do some simple, but major renovations to your kitchen. Such high-tall faucets let you do more with less aches in your back and knees for doing dishes or whatever; and they’re not bulky so you can get to the basin of your sink.

The taps have a very elegant and simple design which will fit in any contemporary kitchen. The only lever handle makes it simple to set water temperature and volume, as well as install and maintain. They’re made of solid brass, which won’t rust, and have beautiful brushed rose gold surfaces for a little extra sparkle in any setting.

This classic style will give Victorian style to your new or remodeled kitchen. With its side-spray, food prep and cleanup are easy and its gooseneck spout makes filling larger pots easy. Made of high quality brass with premier finishes and 1/4 turn ceramic disc cartridges for long life and reliability.

High-Arc Faucets
It’s a beautiful full arc spout, perfect for filling large pots and giving out accurate quantities at just the right temperature. Costs more than comparable items but you do receive a number of useful capabilities that makes it worth the price.

The only difference here is this faucet is fully automated via infrared motion sensor and voice command. You will need Alexa or Google Home device to get these controls but it’s easy once configured.

This stylish faucet will complement any kitchen, it has multiple finishes and touchless function. And it is a great value at under $250, right now (when I wrote it!)

Finishes
There is a style for you, sleek and gloss or matte and cozy, there are kitchen faucet finishes for all – chrome to rustic bronze and every single one of them will enhance the look of the sink.

Stainless steel is a very attractive option for the kitchen of today, with durability and hygiene benefits. brushed nickel (or pewter): Variety and water spots and fingerprints, both of which collect in a busy kitchen.

Brass faucets are very chic in the older kitchens with white and beige cabinets. Oil-rubbed bronze is rustic or Tuscan and its deep brown hue goes well with darker cabinets.

Mixed metals are back in the kitchen as you can see on these Kohler faucets’ nice ombre of rose gold and chrome. Physical vapor deposition (PVD) is another method of applying the finish directly to the base metal and is more durable than chrome plating.
